LA BAMBA is a Mexican brand that collaborates with artisans on the design and production of handcrafted products.

We create our designs, select our colors, and style each product to finally add some spice and uniqueness to our various collections.

There is a lot of work that goes into the production of our products since they are all exclusively made by hand to preserve their authenticity and high-quality.

Every handbag is made out of recycled plastic, and its production process takes a full day. These handbags are indestructible due to their resistance to water, sand, and most importantly, time. Each handbag will last you a lifetime.

The founder

I am Jackie Campos, founder of La Bamba. I live in Mexico City, and I am a wife and mother of three children. Driven by my deep-rooted passion for Mexico's biodiversity, culture, culinary arts and design, I was determined to share its beauty with the world.

After exploring various countries and professions, I discovered my zeal for fashion and the social impact of a simple design. This sparked the idea of creating a company to represent Mexico, reflecting its beauty through vibrant, recycled articles crafted by local artisans.

Founded five years ago after an inspiring visit to a rural community , La Bamba claims to create unique, eco-friendly items used daily by conscious individuals. Through La Bamba, I continue to share my love for design, support local communities, and promote sustainability.
